Occupational therapy supports people living with disability, providing support with all the daily occupations of ordinary life. This covers a range of different activities including, for many people living with disability, driving.

The ability to drive can allow people living with disability to travel and participate in the community independently. Driving occupational therapy focuses on evalutaing an individual's current capabilities, assessing their ability to drive legally and safely, and prescribing modifications and training to make it happen.
