Gwalior: Keeping the upcoming Lok Sabha elections-2024 in mind, on the instructions of Superintendent of Police Gwalior Dharamvir Singh (BJP), Gwalior Police is taking effective action against those involved in the buying and selling of illegal drugs, illegal liquor and illegal weapons.
In compliance with the instructions of senior officers, under the able guidance of CSP Maharajpura Nagendra Singh Sikarwar, Police Station Incharge Hazira NRI Shivmangal Singh Sengar formed a team of the police station and deployed it to take action against those doing illegal business in the police station area. During the investigation, the police team received information from an informer that a person resident of New Colony Number 1 Glass Mill Hazira was selling ganja and smack from his house.
Based on the above information, the police team went to New Colony Number 1 and saw a person of the same description described by the informer sitting outside the house with a cloth bag, who was seen making small balls with an electronic fork, which alerted the police team. Seeing him coming, he tried to run away, but he was surrounded and caught by the police team. On asking the name and address of the arrested person, he identified himself as Santosh alias Monu Tomar, son of Narayan Singh Tomar, resident of New Colony No. 1, Glass Mill, Hazira, Gwalior.
